from a Horde Perspective
- Note: Despite our orientation, only a small part of this site is faction-specific, and most of the information herein should be useful to people who play Alliance characters. (All of the SSO quests, for example, are the same no matter which side you're on.) On occasion, NPC names or locations may need to be "translated," but if you can remember that Honor Hold is the Alliance equivalent of Thrallmar, you should be OK.
News
On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, Blizzard released another patch, 3.2.2, to World of Warcraft. The key points are noted here: Notable Notes from 3.2.2.
The Argent Tournament Awaits!
Just in time for (Call of the Crusade), and (amazingly) revised to reflect the changes in Patch 3.2, is our much-delayed guide to the Argent Tournament, from Aspirant to Valiant to Champion. It's loaded with links, maps, and explanations.
- There's an entire page devoted to the intricacies of jousting and mounted combat.
- We even have a page full of information on the new Sunreaver quests - information available here first - before Wowhead, before Thottbot. (Wowhead finally has the quests listed, but at last check their data remained at least partly inaccurate.)
- Updated several times.
- Added (8/19/09) a new page detailing The Black Knight quest chain, appropriate links on associated pages, and a few inevitable corrections to fix some broken or missing links.
- Added (8/31/09) a new page with all of the Crusader quests, appropriate crosslinks, and a few changes and flourishes.

Wrath of the Lich King is almost a year old now, and Northrend and level 80 comprise the new "normal." However, if you are a relatively new player, are leveling an alt, skipped a starting zone, or are working on one of the Loremaster achievements, the most efficient path through Northrend goes through our guides.
Other News
Even without Wrath, Patch 3.0.2 and 3.0.3 changed World of Warcraft irrevocably. If you haven't played in a while, or just want to review the highlights and lowlights of those patches, go here.
All of the changes wreaked havoc with our Enhancements pages, and we're still trying to recover. We hope those pages are still of some utility, but they are now sadly outdated and will have to be replaced. Ugh.

Rescuing our intended domain name from the sleazeballs holding it hostage took time and patience, but the new URL should make it easier to find us. (You are telling your friends and WoW guildmates about this site, right? It's hard to help players who don't know we're here.)
Updating all of the pages on the site to reflect our new address took much longer than I had hoped, but you shouldn't even notice the changeover unless you check the fine print.
Patch 2.4 introduced a new faction, the Shattered Sun Offensive, and a new zone and questing area, the Isle of Quel'Danas, to level-70 characters. Our debut feature remains the definitive guide to SSO questing:

Security Warning: Depending on your browser settings, you may get a warning (about "running scripts or ActiveX controls") when you go to the SSO Quest Rewards page or others.
This is caused by our use of some nice tooltips provided by
Wowhead.
If you don't care about the fancy tooltips or don't trust Wowhead or us, don't choose to "Allow Blocked Content." You won't get tooltips (and more details) when you mouse over certain linked items, but everything else on the page should work fine.
This site is very much a work in progress. Much more material is on the way - all intended to make your WoW experience as enjoyable as possible, regardless of how long you've been playing.
